Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and SV Learning — operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], India ("SV Learning", "we", "us") — governing your access to and use of svlearning.app and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility & accounts for minors

The Platform is intended for students in Grades 6–12. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for supervising your use. By creating or approving a minor's account, a parent/guardian represents that they have the authority to do so.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@svlearning.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
You must verify your email address before signing in.
One person may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse trials, referrals, or promotions.

3. The service

SV Learning provides gamified learning content, lessons, quests, games, mock tests and exams aligned with school curricula, along with progress tracking. Content is provided for educational purposes and is offered on an "as is" basis. We may add, change, or discontinue features, subjects, or content at any time.

4. Free trial, credits, packages & billing

Free trial. New learner accounts receive a free trial period (currently 30 days) of full access, and starter credits, at no charge. No payment is required to start.
Credits & packages. After the trial, continued access is available through game credits and/or prepaid, time-limited packages. Prices, inclusions and durations are shown on the recharge/pricing page before you pay.
Payments. Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you authorise the charge for the selected item. A parent may pay for a linked child account.
Taxes. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these Terms;
attempt to bypass paywalls, credit limits, exam integrity controls, or security measures, or access content or accounts you are not authorised to access;
cheat, tamper with scores/attempts, or otherwise undermine the integrity of assessments or leaderboards;
copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our content;
upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive material, or a display name/content that is abusive or inappropriate;
interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or place unreasonable load on the Platform.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, its content, logos, and software are owned by SV Learning or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for your own learning. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. Your content

You retain rights in content you submit (such as answers or feedback). You grant us a licence to use it as needed to operate the Platform (for example, to grade an assessment or provide support). You are responsible for content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and its educational content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is error-free, that it guarantees any particular academic result, or that the service will be uninterrupted or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SV Learning will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SV Learning harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

11. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at [CITY, e.g. "Bengaluru"], India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide more prominent notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
